Ok, did you miss me?
I guess not.
Let's get straight to it.
Card Car D
lv 2/Earth/Machine/800ATK/200DEF
Cannot be Special Summoned. During your Main Phase 1, if this card was Normal Summoned during this turn: You can Tribute it; draw 2 cards, and enter your End Phase. You cannot Special Summon monsters during this turn.Hmm, trading two cards for a turn, doesn't seem to be that good. Well in most cases it isn't that good (well certainly not working for me in most decks). But, this card shines in two particular decks. Final countdown and chain burn. Since they don't require monsters that much, this card is the perfect draw engine for them. Countdown can stall with hand traps or waboku/t roar. Chain burn will get more cards to finish off the opp quicker. Card car D is a must have for these two decks.
Also, card car is pretty useful in stun decks. It helps consistency (although right now POD beats it in every way). But in the future when more decks are released, this card will shine.
Elemental Hero (I mean HERO) Bubbleman
lv 4/Water/Warrior/800ATK/1200DEF
If this is the only card in your hand, you can Special Summon it (from your hand). When this card is Summoned: You can draw 2 cards. You must control no other cards and have no cards in your hand to activate and to resolve this effect. No need for me to say, but this card has been making heroes more popular in the OCG lately. Since this is a lv 4 warrior which can be special summoned, heroes can go in to armored ninja blade heart like a boss. 2 ninja's means 2200*2*2=8800 which is game. Even if you don't manage to kill the opp, they would have wasted all their resources stopping your ninjas and now you can just use miracle fusion and finish the game. Speaking of miracle fusion, did I mention bubbleman is water, so it's zero fodder. Also, did I mention it is also mask change fodder too.
Ok now let's move on to the main event:
Number 33: OOPArts Super Weapon - Machu Mach
Rank 5/Light/Machine/2400ATK/1500DEF
2 Level 5 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; inflict damage to your opponent equal to the difference between its current ATK and original ATK, then this card gains ATK equal to the amount of damage inflicted.Ok this card is officially busted. Let's see, machine hmm, I wonder what happens if I use limiter removal. I know the opp takes 2400 dmg and I have a 7200 ATK beatstick O.o
You think that's scary? Let's try this combo.
Minimum Guts
Normal Spell
Tribute 1 monster you control to target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; that target's ATK becomes 0 until the End Phase. This turn, when the target was destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, inflict damage to your opponent equal to its original ATK.Ok so this means (8000-2400)/3...(arg help where is my calculator) er if the opp controls an atk position monster with 1866.66666666.... ATK or more, you win....
yeah, I'm not even going to say anything else.
Number 33 can combo with so many cards it's stupid (try megamorph). Since it is the difference of atk, you can equip shooting starbow-ceal and twin sword of flashing light and wreck your opp's lp.
Finally, the ATK gain is NOT until the end phase, So you keep the ATK.....
This is Dark Strike Fighter all over again....
Overall Card Rating:
card car d: 8/10 good consistency boost, not as good as PoD. Skipping turn is quite a big sacrifice
Bubbleman: 7/10 only good for Xyz (unless you run mask change). Low atk and def makes it useless in almost any other situations
Number 33 (I'm not even going to type the full name): 10/10 this is one of those WTF THAT'S RETARDED cards
Hopefully you enjoyed that. See you next week (maybe).
