Guess a Card - Yu Gi Oh style

So someone posts a puzzle about a card and the others guess the card one winner gets to post the next puzzle and so on....

I'll start

I start out small,
But with the right tools,
I can cause you to fall
In just three turns.

I hide in my shell
Till my friends go to underground dwell
Then a certain spell powers me up
And end it all with a victory cup.

Why, the game is too hard, there are too many cards out there, and with the clues that are provided, playing just isn't worth it.
