My name is Nick, I've been playing yugioh for four years now running after picking it up again junior year in high school. My friends took the old cards i had from when I played as a kid and made me a slapdash spellcaster deck that was slow as a tortoise and lost me a lot of duels. I like to think the beatings I took early on from the then meta lightsworn, dark worlds, and six sams made me more resilient as a duelist. I'm not a beginner, I consider myself very well versed, however I admit I have much to learn and figured joining an academy couldn't hurt just to gauge where I'm at as a duelist. In real life I run my coveted gusto (yes I'm excited for the new support in primal origin, pikiru is awesome) and am close to completing a hunder deck, a hieratic deck, and want to build ghostricks when the rest get released. If you know these decks that'll give you an idea of how I play. I'm looking forward to rubbing elbows with some great duelists and learning a thing or two.
