k here is how this game works ...

i gave a math problem, the guy who solves it first posts his own math prob and if sb else solves it first he posts his math prob and so on ...

k i think u understood it in the wrong way ... firstly, point 'a' is taken always outside the circle so it will always have 2 tangents ...

simple hint : you need to find the equation of the new circle i drew ... the equation shuld be dependent only from its radius and angle beta

I just want to ask before trying, what type of math is this? Like geometry, algebra, calculus?

algebra ... you can solve it with calculus if u want but there is no need ... its a mix of algebra and geometry

My teacher hasn't done anything with circles this specifically, so I'll just guess x^2 + y^2 = 2e^2. Just guessing, so don't hate... please...
