Chaos hunter. I side card that will screw up this format. Why? Look at it. its just beast xD

There are many reasons for this card being such a sexy side card, but its still underused. lets take a look at its effect

When your opponent Special Summons a monster, you can discard 1 card to Special Summon this card from your hand. Your opponent cannot remove cards from play.

lv 7 2500/1500 dark fiend

where to start? xD First off, its a total screw over card. You could be sitting there, preparing to special summon out your ass, then your opponent discards one and bam. Instant wall in the way. Another reason is this card is a monster this format. Its negating RFG's stops many of todays formats. In fact, this one card can stop pretty much all the top decks this format

another thing is this card has a lot of power. 2500 is a pretty descent for a card with such easy summon capabilities. there are a lot of sychs and boss cards out there that can screw this guy up, but most of these cards need an RFG at some point. Another importantn thing to notice is that its a dark type. BLS and DaD food anyone? Lv 7 is also a pretty descent level. Upon playing this card, a combo ive found to work is when my opponent summons, dumb bulb and summon hunter. Your opps move is f-ed up so hard they jsut end. Your turn, mill bulb synch scrap win xD It can also screw up things like Gbz....wierdly. Your opponent could summon darius, attacks and laquari's, thinking he has the toughest monster but now you have it. Ive also seen this card being used quite smartly. Some people summon gyzarus and then hunter is triggered. Because they see hunter, they use one of the destructions to take it out, and forget other cards.

I like to call it a gorz wanna be. To me, gorz is a card that draws attention, cause it hits the field from nowhere. Hunter can do the same (Not saying its better than gorz) and has another nice effect.

extra thing: I checked up on some rulins on this card, and its a wall xD Cards like D prison and stuff wont work at all. They just remove. Howeever, cards like BTH might work cause of destructive effect first Smile
